Jewel of the Han River: Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain
The Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain was registered in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2008 as the world's longest bridge fountain (1,140m total). 380 nozzles installed on both sides of the bridge spray 190 tons of Han River water per minute, while 200 LED lights create a rainbow lighting show. The water jets moving as if dancing to music is one of Seoul's representative night views.

- Weekdays - 12:00, 20:00, 20:30, 21:00 (4 times daily, 20 minutes each)
- Weekends/Holidays - 12:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, 21:00 (5 times daily)
- Night Shows - Full fountain shows with music and lighting are held in the evening
Best Viewing Points
- In front of Some Sevit at Banpo Hangang Park - The best location to view the entire fountain from the front
- Jamwon Hangang Park - Leisurely viewing from the north end of Banpo Bridge
- Banpo Bridge Pedestrian Path - View up close from directly above the fountain
- Cruise Ships - Watching the fountain show from a Han River cruise is also a special experience
Nearby Activities
Some Sevit is an artificial island floating on the Han River with restaurants and cafes, perfect for meals or drinks before or after the fountain show. At Banpo Hangang Park, you can enjoy chimaek (chicken + beer) or a picnic, and riding the Ttareungi (shared bicycles) along the Han River bike path is also recommended.
How to Get There
Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. About 15-minute walk from Exit 8-1 of Express Bus Terminal Station (Subway Lines 3, 7, 9). Or 10-minute walk from Exit 2 of Sinbanpo Station (Line 9) to Banpo Hangang Park. Paid parking is available near Some Sevit.
